You can ask questions such as, what is genetic engineering, do you believe designer babies should be legal, what do you think are the risks, is it ethical, should the engineering be made only to those who can afford it, what impact will it have on society, should parents be allowed to choose certain traits in their unborn baby?, etc. Step 2: Tally up the survey and figure out the percentage for each question. Put your answers in a graph or chart. (For example, 2 people answered yes, and 3 people answered no. Yes = 40% No = 60% Step 3: Create a graph for the answers. Step 4: Define genetic engineering.

You’d be surprised (Links to an external site.) Watch all of the Dan Ariely Ted Talk video. It is 8 – 9 minutes long. Re-watch any parts you don’t understand on the first round. It is worth understanding. Using your own words, answer these questions: What did people think the distribution of wealth really was in the United States? Be specific – how much did people think the bottom 20% was worth, the next group, the middle 20%, the next above them, and the top? You may make a quick table or list for this answer. What was the actual distribution of wealth at the time of this video? (BTW, it has gotten more unequal over time.
