Anne Arundel Medical Center Nursing Specialty Unit Immersion Program Winter 2020 Application Application deadline: Friday, December 13, 2019 Dear Applicant: Thank you for your interest in applying for Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Nursing Specialty Unit Immersion Program.
This program is a week-long program that places student nurses in a specialty area to get a first-hand look at what it is like to be a registered nurse in that specialty. The curriculum includes shadowing a staff nurse in a specialty area and observing unique experiences. Students will also attend career coaching sessions that include resume review with a nurse recruiter and mock interviews with the leadership team.
To be eligible for the program you must be a nursing student entering into the final year of an accredited registered nursing program. If selected, the applicant must be available during the week of January 13-17. Due to the nature of the program, space is limited. The leadership team of the nursing specialty unit will review applications.
